DISRUPTIVE PLANETS

I'm Christopher Vargas, and I'm a rising sophomore at MIT. I'm majoring in aerospace engineering. I am currently in a UROP for the Disruptive Planets group, operating SPECULOOS North Observatory's Artemis Telescope and observing exoplanet transits. I am also searching for asteroids in images from the SPECULOOS survey using digital tracking, a GPU-accelerated method of detection that increases asteroid signal-to-noise ratio.
